Vacancy & Qualification Details

• Age Limit: 20-24/26 years (as on 01 Jan 2027), with relaxations applicable as per rules.

• Qualification:

  • For Flying Branch: Graduation in any discipline / B.Tech (Technical)

  • For Ground Duty (Technical): Engineering degree (minimum required marks)

  • For Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation in any discipline (minimum required marks)

Selection Process

• Online written examination (AFCAT)

• For technical branches: Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT)

• Short-listed candidates go to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for:

  • Screening (Officer Intelligence Rating test, Picture Perception & Discussion)

  • Stage II (Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Interview, CPSS where applicable)

• Document Verification

• Medical Examination

How to Apply

• Visit official application portal and complete registration.

• Fill in the online application form including personal, educational, and branch choice details.

• Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required documents in prescribed format.

• Pay the application fee online.

• Submit the form and retain acknowledgment / print application for reference.

Important Notes

• Both male and female candidates are eligible.

• Ensure eligibility criteria (age, qualification, physical & medical standards) are fulfilled before applying.

• Application is considered complete only after fee payment and submission of form.

• The selection through this exam is for courses commencing January 2027.
