🎓 Eligibility Criteria of IAF Apply 284 Commissioned Officers

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026)

  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2006). Upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid DGCA Commercial Pilot License.

  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years (born between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2006).

Educational Qualifications

  • Flying Branch: Bachelor’s degree (minimum three years) in any discipline with at least 60% marks and Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level, or a BE/B Tech degree with at least 60% marks.

  • Ground Duty (Technical): Four-year degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks in specified disciplines.

  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks.

  • NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch): Graduates with at least 60% marks and NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate.
